Great Expectations

To celebrate Charles Dickens' 211th birthday, FX and Concourse Media made announcements about Dickens projects Great Expectations and Shadow Chasers.

The first teaser for Steven Knight's new Great Expectations adaptation may be super brief, but it still manages to give us all exactly what we want: A look at Olivia Colman's Miss Havisham. 

FX chairman John Landgraf, confirmed to Telly Visions that Great Expectations is heading to Hulu under the FX brand in mid-2023, along with updates on The Full Monty and Say Nothing.

The BBC and FX have released the first photos from their co-produced Great Expectations, and Olivia Colman is front and center.

After dipping a toe into British co-productions with A Christmas Carol and Black Narcissus, FX and the BBC team up for Great Expectations.

Following the success of his dark take on Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol last year, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight will put a fresh spin on the author's Great Expectations.
