British rom-com Rye Lane won over audiences at Sundance earlier this year, and now it’s come over from its South London origins to steal hearts in the US.

The BBC has unveiled a slate of comedies heading for the small screen in 2023, including two from Black comedians and four from women writers.

IFC's newest comedy, Hullraisers, will stream across three of AMC Network's platforms when it arrives in April 2023, including Sundance Now and AMC+.

The series creators and stars confirm Ted Lasso's third season is an end to the story but that it may not be the end. The series could continue, and there is space for spinoffs. 

HBO's Rain Dogs, starring Daisy May Cooper (Am I Being Unreasonable?) and Jack Farthing (Poldark), is a raw comedy about trying to climb out of working-class poverty when everything seems determined to keep you down.

The BBC and BritBox are bringing back mystery-comedy The Cleaner for a second season, sweeping in a new guest cast list featuring a murderer's row of A-list talent.
