Netflix's feature film adaptation of The Thursday Murder Club sees Helen Mirren (1923), Pierce Brosnan (MobLand), Ben Kingsley (The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar), and Celia Imrie (The Diplomat) solving crimes in a quaint retirement community. 

Despite a rushed rollout, Paramount+ proves once again that weekly releases are the best way to build an audience, as MobLand officially secures a Season 2 renewal.
