In the wake of the show's Season 2 renewal, cable network AMC announced that it will bring hit Sky crime drama Gangs of London to America later this year.

The ten-part series tells the story of a city that's being torn apart by the turbulent power struggles of the international gangs that control it and the power vacuum that's created when the head of London's most powerful crime family is assassinated. The series is the biggest Sky Original drama launch on Sky Atlantic in the past five years and its buzzy, cinematic style and gritty storylines won raves from both critics and fans.  it was its biggest premiere streaming series this year and the biggest original drama launch on Sky Atlantic in the past five years.

For two decades, Finn Wallace ran the criminal world of London and billions of pounds moved through his organization. But now he's dead, and no one knows who ordered the hit. As rival gangs begin to battle for the chance to fill in the vacuum he left behind, it's up to his impulsive son Sean Wallace to prove he's ready to take his father's place. And the one man who might be able to help him do it is Elliot Finch, a lowlife chancer with a mysterious interest in the Wallace family, who now finds himself a key part of the inner workings of the biggest criminal organization in London. The story doesn't end with the Wallaces though - there are shadowy other powers at play, as well.

Peaky Blinders' Joe Cole leads an ensemble cast that includes Hell on Wheels' Colm MeaneyHumans' Sope Dirisu, Game of Thrones' Michelle FairleyHarlots' Pippa Bennett-Warner and more.
