The first trailer for one of Paramount+'s few remaining U.K. originals, The Crow Girl, has arrived along with a release date for the far side of the pond.

The new BritBox series Protection doesn’t veer from the successful police procedural formula, but the execution is murky. 

Our first look at Paramount+ U.K. drama The Crow Girl introduces stars Eve Myles (Hijack) and Katherine Kelly (Mr Bates vs. The Post Office). 

BritBox sets a December premiere date for crime drama Protection, starring Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley) as the head of a witness protection division. 

Katherine Kelly (Mr Bates vs the Post Office) is set to star in the upcoming Channel 4 thriller In Flight, which follows the story of an airline hostess forced to smuggle drugs to save her son.

Despite canceling a flurry of originals early this year, Paramount+'s U.K. division is still busily greenlighting new content, including The Crow Girl starring Katherine Kelly and Eve Myles.
