Another popular genre series has met an untimely early end, but what makes The Wheel of Time's cancellation so unfortunate is what it means for female characters in fantasy.

The National Theatre has announced that the buzzy production Inter Alia from playwright Suzie Miller will arrive in theaters in September. The production marks the National Theatre debut of The Wheel of Time star Rosamund Pike.
