Get a Look at a New Photo From 'Poldark' Season 4
It’s sad, but true: We’re (probably) still some months away from officially seeing Poldark Season 4 on our television screens. Despite the fact that the latest season of the popular period drama finished filming back in January, we still have no idea when the new set of episodes will air, either in the U.K or the U.S. (Though, naturally everyone has their theories.)
That doesn’t mean we’re completely bereft of new content, however. And let’s be real, basically anything at this point is water in the desert to Poldark fans eagerly awaiting the new season.
Masterpiece has released a new official image from Poldark Season 4. Much like the initial post-Season 3 teaser clip announcing the fourth season that basically just showed an image of Ross magically CGI-ed over a London skyline, this initial S4 photo is frustratingly vague. Huzzah, we’re seeing Ross again! Despair, he’s not actually pictured with another person, in a particular setting or even doing anything of note!
But, like I said: Water in the desert.
Star Aidan Turner looks appropriately dishy, as per usual, and Ross’ snazzy new jacket is both stylish and slimming. It seems as though he is certainly taking the idea of looking the part of an MP to heart, which maybe implies his behavior next season will be similar…tailored. (Restrained seemed too optimistic of a term?)

We don’t know too many specifics about Season 4 just yet, beyond the fact that both Ross and the show are heading into political-themed waters this season. There will be a few new faces, including Max Bennett as Warleggan’s friend – and Ross’s newest enemy – Monk Adderly, and Rebecca Front as Morwenna’s mother-in-law, Lady Whitworth.
What do you think of Ross’ new look? And what are you hoping to see in Poldark Season 4? Let’s discuss.
