The trailer for the upcoming historical true crime drama Joan shows Sophie Turner's transformation into "The Godmother" of England's underground crime scene.

The CW has set a fall premiere date for Joan, which stars Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) as infamous jewel thief Joan Hannington. 

Sherlock & Daughter is the third British-adjacent series to crop up on the new version of American broadcaster CW, starring David Thewlis as the titular Sherlock Holmes.

Ahead of its first season premiere in the U.S., the CW has announced it will also pick up the second season of apocalypse comedy Everyone Else Burns.
