Disney+ is downplaying Doctor Who, but the fandom hasn't gotten the message, as more projects are commencing separately from the House of Mouse.

While Season 3 (/16/42) remains in a weird limbo as behind-the-scenes negotiations are ongoing between the BBC and Disney, Doctor Who is continuing on with a new animated spinoff.

Doctor Who wraps up its second season on Disney+ with "The Reality War," a mind-bending, chaotic, and deeply timey-wimey hour that upends the series all over again.

Behind-the-scenes documentary series Doctor Who: Unleashed will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the modern series revival with a special featuring appearances from former favorites like David Tennant, Billie Piper, and Jodie Whittaker.
