After being shuttered for months as part of a much-needed renovation, Shakespeare in the Park returns to NYC in 2025, and to Great Performances on PBS in November.

With no 2024 Shakespeare in the Park production last year due to much-needed renovations, Great Performances fills in the space usually occupied by The Public's outdoor festival with West End's Next to Normal.

November 8, 2023, will mark the 400th anniversary of the first publishing of the complete works of William Shakespeare, known as "The First Folio." Great Performances will mark the date with a Making Of special.
