Amazing Internet Things: 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' as 2013 Summer Blockbuster

In many (most?) cases, the original version of something is usually the best one. Remakes and re-imaginings almost always leave fans of the original disappointed in some way.

So, generally, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Mel Brooks classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail definitely falls under that category. In fact, the film ought to be nigh on untouchable when it comes to internet remakes, right? It really doesn’t need too much in the way of improving (and most can agree with that statement whether or not Brooks’ humor is really their cup of tea or not).

But, of course the internet never respects that kind of thing, does it? Remixing is what the internet was made for. Especially when the end result is cool enough that you won’t even mind that someone messed with the original.

One super creative YouTube fan has re-imagined the trailer for the cult comedy in dramatic 2013 blockbuster style, and all of a sudden this classic seems much more The Dark Knight Rises than Spamalot.

It’s even got the Inception BROMMMMM noise in there.

Seriously, this is a must-watch.
