The final season of Australian thriller Jack Irish arrives on streaming platform Acorn TV this summer.

Subtitled Jack Irish: Hell Bent, Season 3 will premiere on Monday, July 12 with new episodes dropping each week through August 2. Star Guy Pearce reprises his iconic role as Jack Irish for the last time,  a former criminal lawyer, part-time debt collector, and private investigator with a penchant for getting wrapped up in things he shouldn’t.

This explosive, four-episode final season delves deep into Jack’s past, questioning everything he thought he knew about his life and bringing him face-to-face with an antagonist more personal and destructive than he has ever encountered. His long-suppressed trauma of witnessing the brutal and random murder of wife Isabel by former client Wayne Milovich – which launched the first Jack Irish installment, Bad Debts (2012) – rears its ugly head when Jack discovers there was more to those fateful events all those years ago.

Joining Pearce are Jack’s trusty cohorts from earlier seasons and the preceding telemovies: Marta Dusseldorp (A Place to Call Home, Janet King) as journalist Linda Hillier, who is also Pearce's former girlfriend; Roy Billing (The End) as horse racing aficionado Harry Strang; Aaron Pedersen (Mystery Road) as Harry’s trusted off-sider Cam Delray; Kate Atkinson (Wentworth) as IT guru Simone and Shane Jacobson (Guardians of the Tomb) as old-school homicide detective Barry Tregear.

The series has won various Australian awards and received multiple nominations from the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) and Logie Awards. Both Seasons 1 and 2, as well as the three preceding movies, are now streaming on Acorn TV.
