Glenda Jackson's final turn on the big screen, which also happens to be the final film Michael Caine made before retirement, The Great Escaper, heads to Masterpiece on PBS as part of the fall 2025 television season.

Masterpiece scoops up the French-made English-language The Count of Monte Cristo TV series starring Sam Cliflin (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) and Jeremy Irons (Watchmen).
