Just under a year after Doc Martin said goodbye to viewers in the U.K. and on Acorn TV, Martin Clunes' crotchety fan favorite will do the same for PBS viewers.

Doc Martin will bid farewell to Portwenn this December with a festive-themed finale installment in which it sounds as though everyone's favorite grumpy doctor will learn about the magic of Christmas.

It's official: We'll be taking our last trip to Portwenn this October for the final season of Doc Martin.
