Ralf Little's DI Neville Parker is poised to become Death In Paradise's longest-running lead detective as the BBC re-ups the show for two more seasons and two Christmas specials.

Police procedural The Bay returns for Season 4 in March on both sides of the pond as Marsha Thomason settles in as lead investigator DS Jenn Townsend.

As Death in Paradise is renewed for Seasons 13 and 14, its new spin-off Beyond Paradise starring Kris Marshall and Sally Bretton, proves there are worthy mysteries back home, too, taking the action to the picturesque Devon coast.

ITV has recommissioned Karen Pirie for a second season, based on Val McDermid's mystery series of the same name. The new season will draw from the series' second novel A Darker Domain.

With the conclusion of Sarah Phelps' Agatha Christie adaptations, the BBC and BritBox have commissioned a new adaptation of the 1939 novel, Murder Is Easy.

The third and final season of the oddball lockdown comedy Staged is shifting to BritBox and will premiere this March.
