Funny Woman Season 2, we hardly knew ye! I wish we’d gotten at least two more episodes of the life and times of Sophie Straw, but it’s been a fun, brisk quartet of episodes. 

Funny Woman’s second season is burning through plot points like a bunch of raked-up autumnal leaves as Sophie has a life-changing experience.

Sophie Straw struggles with the glass walls and ceilings surrounding her in Funny Woman Season 2, so she does the sensible thing and goes to France.

Even in the throes of this class/geography/gender politics vexation, I’m so happy to have Funny Woman back on screen.

Funny Woman’s first series finale has lots of ground to cover, plot lines to tie up, plot lines to seed for the second series, confrontations and collaborations to dramatize, and a mostly happy ending to deliver. Let's go!
