The Franchise

The Franchise has potential, but like so many superhero franchise films, is too repetitive and tepid to stick the landing.

The 68th Annual London Film Festival lineup is out for 2024, and almost everything British that's gunning for awards love is on the docket. 

Just in time for Warner Bros Picture's own terrible DC Universe film Joker: Folie à Deux to make a run at awards season, HBO will release The Franchise, about the pain of those stuck making such films.

HBO confirms The Gilded Age Season 3 for 2025 while teasing a new romance. The trailer also contains the first looks at several British and British-ish shows coming in the next year.
