Production on Doctor Who spinoff The War Between the Land and the Sea has officially begun, and two more familiar faces have joined the series' cast.

The Doctor Who panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 dropped several hints of what's to come in 2025, and confirmed the limited series spinoff, The War Between the Land & the Sea.

Though there's been no official announcement the rumored Doctor Who spin-off The War Between the Land and the Sea technically even exists, industry reports indicate that the series will start filming this Fall. 

Doctor Who wraps up the first season of its Disney+ era with a bang --- and then some. 

The new era of Doctor Who, with its big swings, musical numbers, and larger-than-life characters, has felt like a party. This season not only has casual queer representation, it celebrates queerness.

The BBC is releasing a new installment of Doctor Who's Tales of the TARDIS ahead of the Season 1 finale, to catch us all up on the classic Fourth Doctor adventure "Pyramids of Mars" and the now-returned villain known as Sutekh.
