Lucy Hale Thriller 'Ragdoll' to Premiere on AMC+ in November

Buzzy serial killer thriller Ragdoll is officially set to premiere this Fall.
Starring Lucy Hale, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, and Thalissa Teixeira, the six-part series is based on the novel of the same name by Daniel Cole and follows the story of a trio of detectives who must investigate a particularly gruesome serial killer. Six people have been murdered, dismembered, and sewn back together into the shape of a grotesque single body, nicknamed the "Ragdoll".
Assisgned to this case are newly-reinstated DS Nathan Rose (Lloyd-Hughes); his best friend and boss, DI Emily Baxter (Teixeria), and their unit's newest recruit, DS Lake Edmunds (Hale). The "Ragdoll Killer" taunts the police by sending them a list of his next victims, with Rose's own name placed at the very end.
With victims to protect, their group soon comes under intense - and uncomfortable public scrutiny. A gruesomely imaginative serial killer thriller, Ragdoll also captures the fascinating but flawed friends struggling with the consequences of institutionalization and trauma.
If the series' cast looks familiar to you, it should - Hale is probably best known for her starring role on the smash dark teen drama Pretty Little Liars and as the titular Katy Keene for The CW. Lloyd-Hughes has been in a ton of things Anglophiles will recognize, including The Irregulars, The English Game, and Indian Summers. And Teixeira has also appeared in a ton of British programs, including The Musketeers, Trigonometry, Two Weeks to Live, and the recent Channel 4 historical drama Anne Boleyn.
The series comes from Sid Gentle Films, better known as the folks who brought us everyone's favorite lady assassin series Kililng Eve, and if the description is anything to go by, Ragdoll is shaping up to be a series with a similar dark and intriguing vibe.
Ragdoll is coming to AMC's premium streaming service AMC+ beginning November 11, and will ostensibly air on linear AMC at some point in the future. (Though don't expect that to be any time soon.)
