HBO’s 'Gentleman Jack' Lands a Second Season
It’s official: HBO's Gentleman Jack will be back!
The period drama, which dramatizes the life of Anne Lister, a 19th century British landowner, lesbian and all around unorthodox woman will return for a second season next year.
Written by Happy Valley creator Sally Wainwright, the series is largely based on information from the diaries that Lister herself kept, frequently writing in code to disguise the bits about her sexual exploits with women.
